An update this morning -

We now have 7 people who have submitted an entry to the contest form.

One contest has crossed the threshold of being run at NXRS this year.

Most Beautiful Rocket

There will be on-site registration and entry for contests that have crossed the 5 entrant threshold to be qualified to be run, but that window for qualifying the contests to be run closes at midnight on May 31 (Sunday)

I've made a late change to the Revenge of the Shredstes competition, so check it out here https://www.oregonrocketry.org/nxrs-2026-contests/

Also, I've added the contest definitions and general contest rules and criteria to the form.

If you have already submitted the form, but didn't enter something you now want to, you can make a second entry.

Hi all -

Today we are just 4 short weeks from NXRS 2026, which runs from Thursday June 25 through mid-day Sunday June 28.

I'd like to draw your attention to the contests that I propose to run at NXRS this year, pending enough interest in any of them.    There has only been two of you who have submitted interest in participating in contests on the form at the OROC website.   That's really not enough to go on, and as such, all contests are in jeopardy of not being run.

Here's the direct link to the form.  https://forms.office.com/r/rxsDietukx

The link to the same form and the contest information is at this page: https://www.oregonrocketry.org/nxrs-2026-contests/

You can also find it on the homepage of oregonrocketry.org

Please take a few minutes today or tomorrow to review the proposed contests and register your interest to participate.
